Notes at the bottom of the page:

- Some versions of Internet Explorer will shrink the image to screen size, while with Mozilla/Netscape you'll only see a portion of the image on the screen.  (For most of the images, anyway.)
- All pictures contain EXIF data.  (This is data pertaining to exposure, settings, etc. of the original picture.)  If you want a free EXIF viewer, try the IPhoto DSC Exif Image Viewer.  (WinXP will supposedly give at least some of this same info if one right-clicks on the file - after being saved on disk - and selects "properties")
- #423 is slightly blurred owing to to my not noticing that the auto-focus had focused on the rock in the foreground.  (I'm still getting used to having an auto-focus...)
- Note:  Images #417-#422 were taken with the camera set at 1600 ISO a "use at your own risk" override mode available on the camera - which is why it's so grainy.  I'd set this mode for the pictures taken at night and didn't notice it until I'd taken #422:  I reset the camera and took #423...
- Some of the pictures may benefit from color correction to "warm" the image - but this is probably close to what it really looked like.
- Several of the pictures were somewhat underexposed:  Brightness correction caused additional noise to appear - especially in the sky.
- Starting at about #449 or so, I switched the camera to ISO 400 and forgot to switch it back to 100:  This, along with with .JPG compression causes the following images to have a bit of noise in them (notably the sky.)
- Yes, I probably overdid it with the polarizer on some of these pictures.
- There are a lot of pictures of Bob, Kirsi, and Sophia because their camera's battery was dead, so I took a bunch of pictures for them.
- The background of this page came from image #447 which contained one of the Six Shooters.  The link for the original image for this background is: 447_six.jpg.
- All images were taken using a Sigma SD-10 camera using the 18-50mm zoom lens.
 

Additional Note:

If you want a higher resolution/color-corrected/brightened/darkened/less-compressed versions of any of the pictures, let me know.  There are also a few that I didn't include - mostly for technical reasons.  (blurred, under/over exposed, boring shot, etc.)
